This is another version of Watching the End. It had a sufficiently different feel to the other, that I decided to post them both. I especially think the wolf looks much sadder in this one.

Interestingly, this and Watching the End were both part of an aborted early attempt to make a picture after the Pirate broke up with me, but before he moved out. I liked both of these, but they only utilized 10 of the 30 images I was trying to incorporate, and all attempts at a cohesive whole eluded me. I finally gave up and settled for just these two, and an interesting texture using another 10 of the 30 images that I have posted on my DA page, called A Poisoned Well. Then I moved on to a different group of images for a different project.
