After working mah ass off for 2 months, this is the fruit of my labor! The e-drumkit of my dreams!
Basis for it is an Alesis DM10 X with added 12" mesh-head snare and 8" fifth tom, 5 extra cymbalpads and 2 wedge pads, and an Alesis Trigger I/O for the extra stuff.
Took a while to assemble, setup and calibrate, it got pretty cramped with all the extra cymbalarms, got everything mounted on the rack though.
The module sounds pretty ok, although the main reason for getting the kit is to trigger Superior Drummer so I can record.
Why not acoustic drums u might ask?? I just don't have any room for the planned kit, and not having good mics and interface to record, and angry intolerant neighbors.
Now I can record at any time, and get sound that if I only had a multi-million dollar studio with a kit and mics to match :3
........Now I just have to learn to play this sucker.... >_<
EDIT: Got it into my studio now, rearranged the pads and rack so now its pretty cracking! Also made an anti vibration riser for it (2 plywood plates with tennisballs inbetween)
EDIT #2: Converted all the pads to mesh heads, replaced one of the crappy wedgepads with a new 14" pad, did lots of ergonomical repositioning and also got a new Tama Speedcobra double kick pedal a new Roland KD-9 kick pad, a drumthrone and a lil stickholder ^^.
