Been having a rather rough night tonight just for some strange reason a lot of stress just feels like it is piling and piling up on my shoulders to the point where I feel like I will break under the weight. I knew I had to start taking it easy when earlier tonight I could feel my room spinning. I seriously hope I'm not coming down with anything and it is just stress related. I can deal with stress, I don't want another cold. X3
Anyways, random speed painting of a kinkajou this time. Yes this is the adorable creature that is my fursona as well. I had originally wanted to do the speed painting in Clemi's colors but after starting it 2 different times, it just wasn't working for me. So I settled with the colors from my ref image.
Is it perfect? Heck no LOL. If I linked you my reference image, you'd clearly see the imperfections. But am I happy with it? Eh kinda but not really lol. XD
All this piece really meant was a chance for me to escape for just under an hour and forget about everything else as I concentrated on just one thing for a change and did my very best to try and make that thing pretty.

# of Layers: 5 (7 if you count the sketch which is turned off, and the layer for just my signature)

As for trading/buying one, I'm not too sure about. A lot of the time these are heavily referenced, not traced granted but heavily referenced, usually from several different pics but sometimes just one. Until I get more comfortable with the subject matter, I don't think I'll ever really use these for something other than personal stress relief. ^^

I think trading a referenced paint for another referenced paint is fair as long as both ends are aware of it. Ironically after I saw this pic in your gallery, I started on one for myself (also being referenced off a photo from corbis). XD Guess it just really inspired me. ^-^
