In all seriousness, I don't know what can all be done to stop the bills. The NDAA was passed New Year's Eve when it seems like no one was looking. The Patriot Act was in the works for 10 years and was finally passed in 2001. Even if we stop these, they will maneuver in other ways until they can satisfy the lobbyists. What we can hope for is that when such a law does exist, that the ever changing internet would have found a way around the laws. Already it sounds like they won't be resorting to closing down a site via DNS anymore.

I still find it entertaining that they are willing to stop piracy, but not willing to update policies and encourage domestic job growth in hopes of reducing the piracy.
