Nice shot. I imagine that you only had access to one flash. If you are able to acquire a second as a simple flash-triggered slave down the road, I would recommend putting it about 45 degrees behind and to the right of the subject. That acts to give a really great back lighting that will accentuate the individual hairs from the backdrop and act as a nice light to round out the subject.

Indeed I only had the single, as I don't have access to class equipment after graduating with my degree. I used it and a 6' reflector on the opposite side. I appreciate the comment :)
