I love this! I was eager to see you post it so that I could post it too and give you credit. I couldn't wait.

I think the Darwin style observation "Field Notes" was a perfect take on this, based on how uncertain you were on how to cover this and how you were truly amazed by seeing something like this for the first time. I remember when  sidian came over, showed you my pic, and you could only say "wow" at first!

Really love the notes too. I hope everyone reads them and doesn't just look at art. My favorites are "scoop of unknown use" and "territorial during mating season."

I also really like your take on the eyes. They look like headlights that have been placed inside the windows. I know that there are lights in under where the wheels normally go, but this lined up perfectly with what I drew. It works. I'm also very glad to see the detail like the seat and the targeting between the eyes. My pic didn't even go into that much detail.

All in all, I'm just really glad you had fun with this and had a story to tell. I gotta thank Sidian too. She said you might be the best person in the room for this and she was absolutely right. It was fun watching your reaction, but the fact that you were actually willing to try it too was just awesome. Thank you. ^^

Well that got me thinking about what sort of plane I'd be, which is a weird thought process in and of itself.

I decided I'd likely be a Sopwith Camel, but I doubt I could anthropomorphise that as well as you've done this.

What an amusing concept! I'd have done something more along the lines of a transformer, but this is more toony and streamlined. And the air scoop is a pocket, obviously. :P
