Thank you! I'm thrilled that you like the sketch! I loved drawing his crazy flowing hair, it was so much fun. He lends himself really well to very stylized lines, and I'm really tempted to ink and colour this sketch at some point because of it~ If I do, I'll let you know! :D
You're very welcome! :D I've liked this character since you drew the image. Something about the mood in that image is just... I don't know. Between the paleness of the character, the angst in the expression, the water, and the use of that orchid... Something about it has had me gazing at the picture for hours. I still feel like I haven't quite caught that mood, but I'm glad you like the sketch!
Tock was based off of three key words that Neverfilledvoid gave me, which are "spirit", "time" and "sturdy". I went for the flowing, translucent fins for hair to emphasize the spirit aspect, the fairly muscular and stocky limbs for the sturdy aspect, and then obviously the clock for "time". My initial concept was a creature that acted as a sun dial itself, but I just couldn't get it to work and really wanted to paint something flowy and mysterious, hence ^^.
Oh wow, that's awesome. You worked really well with the words you were given, especially with "sturdy" and "spirit" being a bit of an unconventional combination. I like the idea of a sun dial character, but I'll admit it would be a challenge to come up with one that wouldn't look robotic or overly geometric.
THE INTERNET IS SUCH A FABULOUS PLACE. There were so many other characters that I wanted to sketch, but I ran out of paper. I'm gonna have to start another list/make another massive sketchdump.

Oh god fucking look at that Avery. You draw his face so incredibly well that it really makes me want to draw him again when I have the time - you're inspiring. Every single sketch in there looks really phenomenal, actually, I keep scrolling up and down to look at them all over and over. Thank you so much for drawing Avery! <3

Ahahaa Thank you! <3 When I found your gallery I must have found at least 5 characters that I really wanted to sketch. I ran out of paper in the hospital, otherwise there would have been a Jive, and some Abel. If you ever find yourself with the time, I'd definitely be up for a trade.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Every inch of this is pure amazing o_o I adore how you draw expressions so damn much, and I love how animated your style is. You made Noire look so deranged, I loves it!! Her fingers are fantastic, and I can't get over that 'sly devil' expression on Mephisto's face. This is awesome, all these are awesome, you're completely awesome, thank you so very much!

NICO LOOKS SUPER GREAT HERE and i like how he's turned away from everyone with this I CANT DEAL WITH THIS SHIT expression. he obviously does not give a single fuck about these otherfabulously amazing artists. i really like how sqaure his ears are and even though its in pencil, his eyes look super shiny!
