Well it seems there is a lot of copy pasta going around with a lot of sheep not knowing what it really is, but do go on, (btw not trying to be rude this is a serious comment) I am really interested in every one's opinions on this, USA and other you know?

From what I've understood about it, it's Americas way to prevent piracy.
And America being America, blowing things way out of proportion.

The SOPA-law (if I've understood it correctly) give companies the power to hold ISP's (and other internet sites) accountable for potential pirating affecting them.
Which would mean the ISP's would Blacklist several sites and take down potential pirating sites they host.

IF what I'm thinking is correct; There'll always be a group behind the scenes working around this legislation (E.g anonymous) which would also open the back-door to the semi-techy on the internet.

So I'm basically saying; Relax, because this will be solved, one way or another.





Other scenario is if America decides to plug shut every potential hole there is, the economy will plummet to the ground and won't rise until they decide to remove SOPA again.
And if America has any chance of saving, they will remove SOPA before it's too late.

yeah it is a text wall here and yeah that was on the pirate bay going down so that is a few years old but yeah the other is basically saying that SOPA is literally DOA because there is too many angry youtube/google/facebook/twitter users who are uber pissed about loosing their sites now
