The only direction I was given for this particular commission was "sultry steampunk". Hopefully I did it some justice ;)
I pretty much knew what I was doing for her outfit from the moment I figured out the pose. The arm warmer/gloves are going to be semi transparent, as are the stockings on her legs.
And even though I knew it was going to be a part of this image, OMG I didn't expect the skirt to be that detailed! XD It's bunched fabric that stops at her knees in the front and goes down to about mid calf in back, and then has a long ruffle that starts at the edges of her hips and goes down to the back of the skirt. So from the back it looks almost like a full length skirt, from the front it shows off her gorgeous legs ;)
The colors for her outfit were pretty self explanatory. I don't think I've seen that many pics of Lauren where she wasn't wearing some kind of red, so red was my obvious choice. ^^ I went for darker reds and blacks for the outfit to really make her face and eyes pop.
Lauren is such a gorgeous character, honestly this zebra she's freaking hawt and I don't even swing that way LOL.

This is just absolutely gorgeous. :) *hugs you* I imagine her outfit takes a while to put on. :) *giggles* I'm not sure what I love the most, the scarf she's wearing, the cameo/relief on her neck, the dress, the jacket, the (spats?) oooh, it's just a perfect package. ;) I think with both Topaz and Lauren you do the best steampunk outfits. :)
