this was probably the reason i wanted to sculpt some ponies. this particular pegasus is the main character in a short story i'm working on centered around the humble town guard in the magical land of equestria.
Shrike isn't a fresh faced mare anymore, she's pushing 40 and the job is taking its toll. she's gone from a simple sergeant with no hopes of promotion to a respected leader and a true hero of the land over the course of her adventures but deep down all she really wants is a few days off... and a stiff drink.
it might not show in the pictures but i actually took the normal smiling sculpt and made her frown a little. she was completed for a long time before i took the time to polish her up.
