On occasion, Pounceys feel like going into battle against hostile forces alongside the Hellfire Marines and their Chapter Master, Kurisu. When attached to the Space Marines, they sometimes opt to wear Astartes-styled power armor rather than their typical ones, which are styled more after the Sororitas armor.
This particular Pouncey wields a powerfist and stormbolter.
This is a conversion/kitbash made entirely from GW parts. The lower body - everything from below the belt down to the base - and the head are from a WHFB Lizardmen Saurus Warrior. (The body of a Saurus Warrior included a torso as well, but I opted to clip it off at the waist and attach a Space Marine torso.) The other parts are from various Space Marine kits. The powerfist is from a Space Wolves kit, the stormbolter from the Commander kit, left shoulderpad from a Chaos Marine kit, right shoulderpad from a vanilla Marine kit, and chest and backpack from a vanilla Marine kit. Base is a 25mm GW round base.
The blue scales are ice blue. The white scales are skull white. The armor is chaos black. The bronze metal is dwarf bronze over chainmail. The silvery metal in Chainmail. The eyes - though not visible in the photos - are scorpion green or goblin green (can't remember which). The leather strap on the stormbolter is Tallarn Flesh. The pink on the stormbolter and right shoulderpad trim is a custom mix: 1 part Warlock Purple, 2 parts Skull White. The base is Calthan Brown with the darker of the two grass flockings from the Scenery Painting Kit (Which I got to paint and flock my GW Realm of Battle gameboard a couple of years ago).
All of this is over Rust-oleum Painter's Touch Primer (the grey stuff), which I like because it covers the model very quickly, with very little spraying needed - actually, come to think of it, I forgot to wear my respirator mask when I primed the Synx and Pouncey Marines... Crap. Oh well, once more after the 7-8 years of priming models before I got a respirator mask with proper filters shouldn't hurt too badly, but I do recommend wearing one.
Sorry for the bad photo. I hope it's clear enough to see what things are.
Pouncey (the character), the model, and the photo belong to myself. Hellfire Marines belong to
kurisu7885 . Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer belong to Games Workshop.
