I got a call Wednesday morning before I left for school. It was my sister. "I caught a kitten in the Tim Hortons parking lot," she said. "Should I bring it home?"

I said yes.

Her name is Pumpkin Pie, or just Pumpkin for short. We suspect that she is at least 12 weeks old.

We weren't intending on keeping Pumpkin at first. But she is the sweetest little kitten. My dad, however, does not want to keep her and pay for her. So the only way we get to keep her is if my mom and I pay for all of her vet bills.

The thing is, Pumpkin desperately needs to go to the vet. She is deathly skinny, sluggish (but she's getting better) and we're worried about her. She also doesn't have much of an appetite (she's currently on a delicate mixture of tuna, canned cat food, kitten chow, and cat-sip). Her appointment is scheduled for tomorrow. My mom is going to put the appointment on the credit card so we have time to gather money.

So, everything I sell (plush or pattern) and every commission I get are going to be put toward Pumpkin's health. She really needs this vet visit and if she needs some kind of medication, its going to cost us a lot more. Please help us out if you can!
