Umm its not bad. The reason I didn't use rubber/eraser is because I don't have the scooping tool to do it. I used an exacto knife and a needle like clay carving tool. You also kinda have to make sure you carve the sides evenly. It prob also doesn't help that I don't have an ink pad. I just bushed over them with some calligraphy ink. but over all I think they came out pretty well? for first attempts at least?
Stamps made from polymer clay? I've never done it that way before but I guess it makes a more durable stamp if it bakes even.
Personally, I made stamps with either a thick rubber block of Speedball's Speedy-Cut carving blocks or a piece of linoleum block if you want to go for something more durable. The speedy-cut block is easier to cut and trim to your desired size.
