i dont like this piece....i think its because of how rough the actual lasers or whatever look. to me when space and earth meet, the elements from space should be smooth and well blended while the earth should look rough like it does but the way you have it set up it looks like the stuff from space and the earth are from the same place. my suggestion would be to clean up the space stuff ALOT and make it look like its not meant to be there. i can site some ref. material if you like :D
