I've fallen in love with the Soft Cover brush in Corel, with some patience it gives some excellent effects - like fur texture. Keeps me from abusing the layer tool as well, as there's essentially no 'line art' and whatnot. It's almost like actual painting, except that this has an Undo function.
Felt like making a pretty li'l account icon for meself.
