Again: It depends. It depends on who you hire, your concept art, and what sort of character you want. If youre talking about something like Django above (made by 
beetlecat), youd be talking on the order of 3,000-ish. Thats a rough guess based off your brief one-sentance description...youd need to talk to an artist--assuming they are open for commissions--to get a real number.
