Really nice to see a bassoonist on FA! I love that instrument but haven't written much for it as I'd like. I've never heard of Koechlin to be honest, but I'll have to look into him. I like how this piece demonstrates both the moods the bassoon I think is best capable of, the emotional/lyrical side, and the playful/bouncy side.
