This is a rare auction, something that I will only do once and a while.
I am offering a custom sketchbook cover of your character (non-adult). The Base Sketchbook comes with:
-110 count white 8.5 x 10.5 pages
-Color cover of your character/sona(non-adult)
-bust, or full body
-Intro page
-Hard Cover front and back
-One sketch in the interior (your choice 1-2 char)
-Fixative sprayed cover (to help prevent damage)
-US shipping $10, International $15 (mailed in a bubble mailer (or box) surrounded by cardboard to prevent damage). Tracking and Insurance.
Bid levels:
$60: no BG, front only
$80: Simple BG, front only
$100: Front and back character, simple BG
$120: Front and back character, complex BG, one additional sketch included on the inside (your choice 1-2 char)
$140: Front and back character, complex BG, two additional sketches included on the inside (your choice 1-2 char)

The art store near me has white covered canvas sketchbooks that I use for a base.
I then sketch on them with pencil, ink them and color them. Then I go back and re-ink to smooth out color bleeding on the canvas, and touch up with white gel pen and re-color those spots.

I found them at Micheals (their brand, artist's loft) for $10 each. (at least here in NJ that is the price)
I use primarily marker and micron inks, though the marker does tend to bleed and has a lot of clean up of the bits over the lines with a white gel pen.. They suggest acrylics for the cover.

Hmmmmmmmm michael's eh? I might just persuade the hubby to take me on a little trip for my birthday then :P I've done acrylic and marker sketchbooks before, but it was this weirdy handmade paper which seemed to suck the life out of my poor pens X_X Is the surface like a canvas, or more like a material? It looks like tonnes of fun :P and really works well with your style i might add!
it is canvas, so that is why I get the bleeding on it. Probably why the recommend other materials. Also, it really eats markers, probably 3x faster than normal coloring on bristol. Also, it get be tough on the micron nibs, so usually i go over a line 3 or 4 times to make sure it is dark enough without hurting my nib very much.
The things is, my art store only has maybe one or two of the sketchbooks out at a time with none in the back. So even if I wanted to I couldn't do more than that. They get new shipments in every Thursday, but the sketchbooks themselves only get registered to order more only when they are completely out, and it the store can request more since it is their system that does it (I've asked).
But even if I was keen on that, the sketchbooks are time consuming, and as much as I enjoy doing them, trying to get a lot done with all the sketches that may end up being in there will likely make me not enjoy it if I had so many things to work on with it.
Plus, last time I offered one of these, no one was interested, or the time before that. I ended up just doing it for friends instead. This is the first time I've generated really any interest.

Are these them? http://www.colinharbut.com/art/Cach.....d-sketchbooks/ They seem to make smaller ones, not sure that would help. I understand how much work they are through! Why mass production is not an option.
