Yeah, that's what I've heard from my mate. One thing that I've been told that annoys me is that apparently you already have the upgrades, but your not authorized to use them which to me make no sense. I would be switching the Varia suit on quickly if I was in a room full of lava. I wouldn't wait to be authorized to use equipment vital to living.
Man, it's been so long since I played Metroid Prime 2, but I do remember that Sanctuary/Fortress level being really fun to go through and explore as well, especially given how you could use the Space Jump ability to traverse the terrain. :)
I know I've already said this during the stream session when you were putting the finishing touches to this pic, but the bright, neon-like lighting effects are easily my favorite aspect about it. This includes the blue glowing effects from the lights on Samus' suit, the details on the bright and blue wave of energy streaming from the booster part on the backside of the suit, and bright-green, swirling streams of light below the platforms in the background. The way you painted the craggy rocks below the platform with the door on the right side reflecting said green streams of light looks neatly applied as well.
By the way, I've been meaning to ask...is that a magnetic track on the left cable where the Spider Ball ability could be used, given the lit blue arrow marks on it?

Whew, took forever for my computer to load this lD
Damn, the detail put into this is fascinating 0_0 All the tubes lines and perspective is almost perfect, as is the pose and suit mechanics. And the effects, they look stunning. And as always, wonderful job on the shading l3

In all honesty, I have to say the Phazon suit in Prime 1 was my fave. X3 Both for defensive purposes, and the way it looked... X3 Prime 2, however, I have to say that the mech area was more my favorite, even though the Spiderball boss is the bane of my existence in that area. X3
Incredible artwork! I was caught off guard when they introduced the Gravity suit in Fortress! Haven't seen that suit in ages! Metriod was very popular in the final years of the 20 century but it kinda lost its touch. Its still a great game (Series) to play! Zelda beat them in a punch!
My favorite suit was always the Light Suit for practicality, but for sheer looks I think the Prime 3 suit was coolest. I mean, yeah it got crazy as hell with it, but the way the armor looked was just awesome. The only thing I have disliked about the Varia and other suits is the HUGE shoulder pads...
