Made him a black and white Cardigan Corgi and instead of a mask, I just made it as if he had a white spot in the shape of one. xP

I love this. The lighting and textures are excillent. And one of the scenes that I found very heart-wrenching and tear-jerking.

Beautifully bleak, Ganny! I find myself cherishing the smaller components individually to fully enjoy the whole; for instance, I love how much emphasis is put on the cape, simply because it's the only kinetic object in the picture (excluding the hazy precipitation).
From there, I'm drawn to the luminous, tawny eyes, the glistening stream of tears, and the crushed rose's radiance. These three light-emanating elements clearly reside at the core of the image, circumscribed by gloom to grant the piece its poignancy. =D
On an ending note, I personally like the detail of the maw--the potent display of teeth and the carefully positioned tongue, all nicely shaded. One also can't help but admire the inevitable yin and yang that comes with the portrait. ^^

I hate using a cliche... but.. WOW. This is one powerful work. A heartfelt tribute to what I think is THE most impressive production I have ever seen. The use of his fur "mask",expressions, hearing that music in my mind as I look in awe at this... just OMFG! Everything about this is just overwhelming!
