"Managed to make it into the convention center just before the Ether Storm blew over Chicago. A bit irritated because I couldn't grab a cup of java on the way, but at least I'm inside, along with all the other attendees. Good thing, too, since this storm was particularly nasty. The cityscape disappeared and all sorts of weird plants started cropping up off of these floating islands. Really messed up shit. Seems like every Expandocon, despite how sexy it is, just lacks innovation overall. Just feeding seminars, life stories and other things that are pretty mainstream in the fat admirer community. Expandocon 1996 was expected to be the same thing, until I came across those three.

Three fursuiting girls, dressed up as SSBBW versions of Renamon, Lucario and Krystal (Christina was Krystal, Luna was Lucario, and Rena was Renamon) were chatting together. I thought I'd have a nice chat with them, so I came over since I really had nothing better to do. They were really excited to see me, too, as if they knew me. Turns out they did, somehow. Even better was realizing that their hugeness was not actually part of the fursuit as I expected, but actual fat! SSBBW cosplayers?? I thought I was in heaven. But that wasn't the least of it, though. They said that the Ether Storm that hit the Midwest back in 1994 had sent them a message to spark life, love and creativity into the FA community as a part of some odd, obscure prophecy to create a "Fat Fur" subculture. They said that they were the founders of this website, www.newlifebbwsuits.cjb.net, which sold spandex fursuits based on favorite anthro characters for SSBBWs. They saw themselves as the so-called 'Two-Ton-Crusaders', prophets of-(page damaged and unreadable)-They invited me to their-(room?)-so we cou--(page torn out)--With my new form and identity, it felt good to get involved with something and someone much larger."
