I drew this while at Ishaway's house last year, and finally pulled the little sketchbook with it in out, and scanned it. And then added a crap-ton of colour and stuff to it in photoshop. No clue what it is... a phoenix with a horse skull I guess...

If i were in the jungle and saw this i'd think... I'm not in kansas anymore.

I love how organic the turn on the neck is - it clearly has a defined volume. And the ear tufts... i don't know why, but i'm getting a really emotional connection to this.... faving.

I'm in adoration of the sun spots. It's just a subtle thing many forget, but it adds so much form, depth, and context of where the character is sitting, and its believability in it's environment.
You also dominate plumage like a boss.
