Beginnings (OLD ART)
I've told some of you how Wielder (my main murrrrrsona) began. She was a Werewolf The Apocalypse character that I made to go along with my husband's (then best friend/fuck buddy/semi-boifran) character Janus Raine. She was an Uktena who went by She-Who-Wields-The-Wind which was shortened to Wielder. For comparison's sake, let's look at what she is today... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7148507/ .
Just goes to show you how much a character and even the world you put them in changes. This was drawn back in 2002 with what I'm assuming are prang and prismacolor pencils.

Hee, I have an old WTA character from college. Nice to see I wasn't the only one who gave her character hair in their hybrid form. I got snarked at by other werewolf players for being "too furry". Mine was a Lupus Fiana Ragabash named Flame-Stalker-Lightfoot. I still have vague aspirations of turning the character into fursuit at some point, just because I'm still fond of her design. Hey, it's always fun to see where someone's art and characters started. =) Makes me feel like I suck less when I look back at my own stuff compared to where I am now.
Duuude, would love to see a redraw of this or something. Werewoof Wielder in your style right now would be B-B-BAD TO THE BONE ;b
I love seeing all this old stuff of yours, and I can definitely see some aspects of your past style incorporated in your present art... the floofy cheeks, the muzzle, and the eyes especially.
