Probably a bad idea to start off with my favourite photograph, because it's dowwwwnnhill from here! *grin*

Yeah, Weasely was all like, "Vandrigar's this cool photographer I visited!", and then I looked at your FA page and saw the list of all the other things you do, and I went D: in despair.
Now that I'm on real internet (not GPRS) I'll have to look through your submissions properly. :)

Love this <3
I know sod all about photography... Is this how it came out, or did you mess it around with photoshop or similar? :)
I love the focus on the front cheetah and blurriness! (See, I know nothing and my comments suck too) ;)
... and ZOMG Van! Didn't know you were here O_o I must PM to sort something that's been bugging me for AGES :)

Thanks, Torque! (Can I call you that?)
This is (mostly) how it came out, yes. The only changes made were a slight crop to re-frame the photo, and changing of the brightness to correct the exposure. Typical photo-editing for any photo. :)
The motion blur is from the very slow shutter speed (1/50th of a second), and the sharpness of the cheetah in the foreground is from using the flash to help "freeze" an instant of his motion. Prrprr!

*Blinks* ... Nah, actually most of that makes sense ;) Oh, and I answer to almost anything :D
Only kind of camera I've had in YEARS is part of a mobile phone, but I used to have a -real- camera with changable lenses and adjustable shutter speed. Just never been good at capturing moments, so gave up trying :)
Was having a chat with ShadowCheetah recently and he reminded me how a single moment can be a thing of awesome beauty... I'll have to nudge him this way, as I think you grabbed one :)

*chuckles* I've decided that the trick to capturing moments is to take a lot of time to wait for them to present themselves.
A few of my friends have a lot more patience for landscape photography 'n so get far better 'moments' than I do. But sitting outside a cheetah enclosure for a few hours? No problem.
