I was reading Ovid's Metamorphoses, specifically the myth of Iante (poor man Ligdo's wife got pregnant, he tells her that if she gives birth to a daughter she will have to kill her because they can't afford a woman, Isis appears to the woman to settle things, blah blah, yadda yadda), when I stumbled upon the verse "[...] cum qua latrator anubis[...]" literally: "with her (was) Anubis who barks/barking".

I couldn't help imagining this happening.
