Got him today at a local comic shop. I've been eyeing the guy since the first time I walked into the shop over two years ago. I originally went into the shop to buy comics but they didn't have the ones I wanted yet. I looked around and saw him still there, so I got him. I bet he will be done by the end of the week. *wide grin* The newest addition to my little robot family.
Best thing about this model is that he is already pre-painted which is great! (I didn't know that until I opened the box. Darn moonspeak!) Here's an image. I'll take some more photos when he is assembled, maybe even some work and progress photos.

It really is a nice model, I'm glad I got it! If there was a 1/60 Perfect Grade version I would probably get it in a heatbeat. XD
I already have him put together and I'm just waiting for the touch up paint to dry. So far the only real problems I've had were with the decals. They just did not want to cooperate with me... *tried anyways* :/

Heh, I kinda figured that was the case. Oh well. I honestly don't remember how I discovered that, but it probably had something to do with the fact that I abhor the way decals are normally applied.
Since you seem new to Gundam models, you should know this:
eBay is a really great (and fairly cheap) place to get them by searching for "gundam MG" or "gundam PG" (for the two best kinds of models) and they are great to build while on long plane flights (most MG kits have half the parts of yours). I love wierding-out the people sitting next to me.

I'm not all that new to gundam models, I'm just new to the decals. >.<; The last gundam I put together was the Perfect Grade Wing Zero and that was over a year ago. I did go on ebay to get that one, got a great deal.
I don't fly all that often but when I do I just draw or watch the movies they have. Building models while flying is an idea but I would be paranoid about losing parts. XD
Lately I've been lazy and started buying robot figures instead of models. I have a Eva-05 model in my closet that still needs to be put together...
