Cinnamon Honey Graham Cracker Sand

two tablespoons of cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
-Directions-
1. Crush graham crackers separately, till sandy in texture.
2. Mix all ingredients together.
Frosting & Decoration
-Directions-
The directions for this cake are a little complicated, since there are various ways of doing it. I personally took two separate square cake pans, put them together and frosted them. Coated them in the "sand" topping, then baked a third cake in a loaf pan. Applied frosting to that, then created a lid using graham crackers and fondant. I also used the fondant to make the metal structure keeping the chest solid and m&ms for the rivets bolting it together.
Optional: Chocolate gold coins are obviously good for a pirates chest! Ring pops.. and a fancy logo made of fondant for the top.
Enjoy your AAAAARRRH.. pirate cake. :D

That is really neat and creative for a cake there. The graham cracker was a very clever idea for the sand and the ring pops were a nice touch for the edible gems. I'm really impressed how you made the edible chest too, but more so that you managed to make a sustained, open lid and cavity to put the coins in without the edible chest caving in on itself. The m&ms were another neat touch for the rivets and overall this is very clever and very, very well made. Bravo on the visual aspect of this here.
