This is just so awesome!! :C And yes, every time i see this character I think of Beetlejuice too... I ruined my VHS tape from watching it too much when I was younger. haha. Loving the pose, especially with the foreshortening of that right arm. And the textures you get never cease to amaze me, this is just wicked.

My textures come from me being lazy xD I need to spend more time on my work.

I love the Beetlejuice reference, it's one of those that only the die-hards would catch. While Zeek isn't really inspired by sandworms, he totally looks like he belongs in that setting.
I love how you painted the hand coming way out like that, and his pose is so expressive. This whole image has so much speed and movement. You also have an inspiring way with colour and lighting that I am totally jealous of. That drool in his mouth and the rubbery lips and augh. <3

I need to slow down. hehheh. So glad you enjoyed it. I couldn't figure out where to place him and I wanted a colour palette to contrast Zeek. I was just going to go for realistic Saturn, but the boyfriend gave me reference from the beetlejuice movie. Once the ground was down the rocks just seem to balance it out. :D Totally worked out better than I thought it would. I almost didn't give him a background XD
