I'm like a rose. I'm thorny and sharp Uninteresting but if you wait for me to bloom. I'm really proud of this photograph. It had just finished raining and every blossom had the dew drop effect. I took it with a canon Powershot SD elph. This was a rose bush I bought simply so my mom could have white roses for my cousins wedding bouquet. Only when it bloomed it was this buff peach color. Occasionally the flowers are more yellow tan than pink. We used it anyway because the flowers are so lovely It was likely mislabeled as silver streamer. It is also softly fragrant and a monster of a rose bush the canes can reach seven to eight feet tall. We are always so busy in life we forget to appreciate the wonderful world around us next time you walk by a garden or see a rose bush? Stop and smell it enjoy that fleeting moment of beauty.
