I actually remember reading in a books where a knights son was kidnapped by the kings men, in order to get the knight to turn himself in for his crimes. To which the knight replyed:
"I have both the hammer and the anvils to forge yet more sons."
Luckilly the king took a liking to the child and took him in as his own, and the child later became king himself. I just hope this German Shepherd is equally as kind as the king in that story.
