Seriously. It's getting downright ridiculous now even bothering to keep up with this shit. I'm going to try to back out for the sake of my health and sanity now, especially my health since I wound up getting so stressed over SOPA/PIPA earlier in the month I made myself sick and had to call into work one night.
We'll have to see what happens with this in the future but for now I'm beginning to notice a lot of other industries are paying attention to Hollywood's whining and are beginning to act against them (the investment group Y Combinator is a great example)... but yeah. I'm out. For the sake of my own health I need to stop following this mess.

So yeah, recently Creative America, a fake grassroots organization made by the MPAA, stated that without SOPA they'll never take down the MPAA... five days after the Department of Justice took them down.

Remember Oscil, these are the same guys who tried to get the radio, television, tape recorder, VCR, CD burner, DVD player, and Mp3 player banned. Innovation scares and confuses them.
I'm all for trying to stop piracy, if you go to all the work of writing a book or making a movie you deserve payment for it, but legislation will only make the problem worse and the pirates harder to stop.
