Alaska is beautiful, if you stop and take a look.
Last night while I was at work, and doing one of my many rounds, I stopped and looked about me. The snow around me had taken on an orange look, fading into purple and then blue. My shadow took on a crips blue shape and my footprints were thrown into deep relife by the shadows and light that played around them.
I may not have portrayed it very well, but I decided to paint this, without lines, just the brush. I used blur around the edges of the moon, my shadow, myself, and the light pole, to give it the fuzzieness that winter gives everything, but other than that, it's all done with the brush on SAI.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
