I wouldnt go beating it with a baseball bat or anything.. it's hollow plastic, so if you set something really heavy on it or slam it down real hard it may crack. Once you get foam and fur on it though it will be a little bit more stable, but you just need to keep in mind it is plastic that is not super thick.
