Actually, its a program that lets you play Doom, Doom II, Heretic, and Hexen on the newer computers and adds a ton of stuff like lighting effects, 3D Models, particle effects and a whole bunch of other stuff, I have it myself, and it feels good to play those games again, it also features multiplayer, but on one plays that because the program is too old.
