This is what I'm breaking my thumbnails on at the moment. It looks like a pony skull covered in wire, and you'd be right. However! I plan on removing the skull once the wires are glued together, and then it'll be a 'skeleton' onto which I will build papier mache. Then I will attach it to some kind of headgear and then it will be a mask! Omg!
It could all go horribly horribly wrong, like when I take off the masking tape it will go 'P-twang!' and turn into a giant coat hanger. These pictures show my progress in adding wire of different gauges, starting in the top left (and the one below), then the bottom right which was today's work. I've now started the bottom jaw, which is giving me a lot of problems.
Attaching the two together and making it movable is going to be a challenge. I'm aiming to make this character: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6849195/ called Ilex. This means making a mane, neck and probably arm coverings, then designing some costumes... All before Confuzzled in May! And if that goes well, I could wear her at AC too... And take no other clothing whatsoever.
