My fursona Rob and his "New" analog camera, a 1980 vintage Ikegami HL-79D that replaced his similarly aged 1984 Ikegami 95b 3 tube camera.
This is a real life camera that was the mainstay of ENG crews through the 1980's and into the solid state early 1990's for news and video production around the world.
At a price of 45,000 for the HL-79A in 1979, these cameras were restricted to just the high end market of the professionals, but now...31 years later...can be found for 100 dollars on the second hand used market.
Not pictured is Rob's Sony BVU U-Matic VTR that records the signals off the camera as all cameras prior to 1986 were two piece units.
