Sunflare, the son of Ignitus, is a fire dragon, and a future Chronicler. His markings are a symbol of his future as a chronicler, and are present when a young chronicler is born. They allow him an increased control over the forces of magic, however, his elemental abilities pay a price for this gift. Sunflare cannot breathe a stream of flame half as long as what most fire dragons could his of age. His gift of magic are far reaching, however, covering telekinesis, powers over nature, and marking intricate runes on even the most impossible objects. He loves spending time with his father, but his mother was lost in the great war, like so many others. He is smart, cunning and has a strong wit, which is useful against the temper's of the other fire dragons who make fun of his less than stellar ablilty over fire.
