Long ago, I had a dream, regarding the fact that suricates lived their entire lives on the ground. To be high above the clouds, would mean death. (Since you'd be in the talons of a bird, obviously)

In the chronicles, the memory of that dream reoccurred, and a thought hit me. If an evolved suricate, with such intelligence have the dream of flight, suppose she'd try to get a little... creative? Ambitious? Maybe even constructive?

And thus, the contraption, simply known by Alikye as her 'wings', are made. Or in my case, badly scribbled in on my computer.

I put a little work into this, since I do admit fantasizing the Mythbusters actually trying to see if the darned thing works, and recreates a perfect life size duplicate model. ^^ Oh well, we all dream, don't we all? -_-
