Community Reinvestment Act (look it up), basically made the banks lend out money to people regardless of wether or not they could pay it back.

(If the banks really were so "forced," then why didn't they lobby for its repeal or modification in 2001-2004, when such a repeal would've easily passed both houses and been signed by the President? Let's also not forget that the CRA was passed into law in 1977, revised several times since, and never caused a problem ... until Glass-Stiegel was allowed to expire.

I've lived in ontario for about 20 years and i have never been to see the leafs play. Hell the only team i rooted for was the Might Ducks but i think the movies had something to do with that :lol:

Might I suggest the Senators, from Ottawa, if you are in that area. They're just as failtastic as the leafs, but far more entertaining about it. :D

Personally, I like the 'nuks and jets and flames, but that's on the other side of that huge and glorious mass of land where you are now located.

As a Calgarian, may I suggest you don't become a fan of Calgary or Edmonton. Having worked at Calgary's Home Ice for three years, I can safely warn you it appears to be a law with heavy penalties for neglecting that you become a rabid, flaming idiot and a disgrace to your new country every time the two square off, or anytime the other team is mentioned.

Not much famous about the team, but the fact that they had the Nuggets to go from Dawson City, Yukon, all the way down to Ottawa, Via Dogsled.

I have a special set of brushes that do different shaped gradients. I think I have hearts, X's, ovals, teardrops, squares, and stars...as well as usual circles.
