This is an example of an early attempt at a convoy escort gun truck. This one was built by the unit we replaced in Iraq. Later versions had better armor and better lights. We eventually learned how to build a decent light bar with only a few lights that manged to be just as effective as this rolling Wrigley Field lamppost, if not more so. If you look closely, you'll see that the headlights have been left on. The factory headlights just suck.
