The third illustration from the series of Stu Calt Rippson, and I had a ton of fun designing the spring powered version of his circular transport saw.
He looks pretty damn fancy with that hair

It was fun trying to figure out what this character would wear during those times, and even more tricky was the redesign of the circular saw :]

Man! Your detail and shading is amazing! Beyond what I could ever do! I love it!!!
And I've always loved black and white photos, they look beautiful.

It was a ton of fun doing this as I could focus on values and texture (still need to do more colour studies)
These pic's were also exercises to paint textures with a simple single brush, so building up more skills.

Thanks so much Osfer! this was my favourite out of the four since I got to design his circular saw for that time period. plus it was one of the few times I got to paint him not going D:
