little something for my boy ;3; it was our anniversary recently, not that I need an excuse to draw our lamb & baphomet snugglin' it up.
this picture is closer to my usual way of drawing than anything else I've uploaded so far, both in media and in style/feel.
f5 for edit: I totally derped and didn't color in saturnine's horns. they are gold leafed like antique's hooves so I should have filled them in with the rest of the gold accents. ;_;

This is making Oni flail all over the place. However I'd rather leave a better comment than that, so:
Baph/Lamb couples are a weakness of mine due to the significance of it for me (due to Oni and Capser as well as how lambs are to me in general) and Oni. Therefore this automatically hits that soft spot.
Once again, the usage of halos and other occult imagery are excellent. I love the gold to monocrome/color lacking contrast, it's an excellent way of highlighting all that iconography. The texture detail, like in the fur layering versus the clothes, as well as the ribbing on the horns and lambie's eyelashes are fantastic.
And lastly: his eyebrows are perfect and the contrast between her muzzle's shape (softer) versus his muzzle shape (the hard bump in the center) is just yes.

thank you! the lines are actually pencil, I only used pen for the gold bits and white highlights/clean up lines (though I tinted the image brown in photoshop, so I know it might not be as easily identified as pencil). I actually work almost exclusively in real media for my personal art, so I'm sure you will see more of it from me as I adapt a bit of that style for my anthro characters. :>

Oh, I assumed it was brown ink...and saw later after I posted this that that was not the case :x either way, very crisp and lovely <3
and rad. I totally prefer it, as much as digital is cool there's something nice about not having a back-button or holding the original result in your hands.

I love how fucking detailed your inking is. I mean shit son, DAYUUUUM. I have always hated inking, will you just ink all my art from now on plz? ;) Ok ok I digress... this is seriously adorable! I love Tique's little shy smile and closed eyes while Baphomet is all "fuck off yo this is mine." And man I love how you did the hands. Seriously, detail everywhere fucking awesome.
wait shit son just read it is pencil! That's fucking just as amazing ok, so clean and detailed still! I love that you are using more real media I can't wait to see more of it from you! Not that I don't love the digital, I have just always had a soft spot for the real media... ;3
man I have always hated inking too, not to mention that I physically have trouble with it now because of a condition I have that effects my joints and how I can hold a pen. I do all my lines in pencil and it's so much easier for me, I looooove pencil and playing with textured and patterned paper and watercolor washes and etc etc *3* and I like that all of my personal work is actually finished and sitting in a sketchbook together and I can hold it in my hands and flip through it all... definitely better than having digital scans of everything. I think some characters/themes just work better in traditional, while others look better in digital. anyway, thank you girl <3 I will have lots of things for you soon!
thanks so much for the nice comment + fav <3 and ain't that the truth about scanning real media, everything always looks much better in person due to the different paper textures and metallic bits. hopefully I can find a way to make it work since I do so much in traditional media that I'd love to post. n_n
