This... is impressive.
First of all, the background has absolutely superb lighting. I know it's just done with the candle to show where it's coming from, however, the low light and flare of the candles and well.. the candles themselves happen to make this picture look like it's taking place within a church, and I can respect that.
......and while I'm on topic, I'd swear those candles were taken from a photo and put here. I'm not faulting you on them, but it's noticeable. To me at least as..no one else really caught it, or gave enough of a damn to say.
Second off, the hair coloration and shading is just magnificent. The brown color just works with the orange flare of the lights from the candle and the whole picture's color scheme just flows together. That is just amazing to me and I had to point it out.
Dear Lord...the eyes and how you colored them are simply beautiful to me. Call it a penchant I have for gold eyes [As I have the same color] so when I see them, it's..just eye catching to me. The pose here by the way indeed does go along with the picture. That and the gaze. It really can be interpreted as "waiting for you."
...and character wise, this is also a lion? That won my respect right there.
Honestly and truthfully, I enjoy this picture. It's just beautiful to me and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you.
Yes, I know my comments are wordy, but I'd rather tell you why I enjoy it rather than give some one liner that says absolutely nothing about the picture.
I mean, you spent a good amount of time and put in a great deal of effort into obviously. It's only respectable to put in a fraction of that time seriously looking at the picture and commenting. Call it a me thing.
