This as the title says is a harmless token of affection. I'm rather fond of
Mutantnight character Emily probably because I love unfortunate characters. I make them myself after all. And who's more unfortunate in my bunch then Muffin!
Generally though from the looks of it between them Muffin fights for her right to keep smiling no matter how fragile the fine veil of comfort is.. And Emily seems to go through far worse torture and suffering then I'd ever have the stones to push onto Muff :V!!
She in turn wishes to coddle and comfort all those who are down-trotted and feeling hopeless, always taking the side of the underdog.
If her special demon power isn't clear to you it's simply put as she's a fertility demon.. or nature if you'd rather be more subtle. She duel wields control over lifeforms that reproduce whether it be plants or animals! So she is quite fond of speed growing wild gardens of unnatural proportions.. often picking flowers and weaving them into garlands to give to people. That's what's in her hands you see.. she just wants to put the crown on sweet Emily's head ^ ^
:U a funnier by-factor to her abilities is that results that vary with what she comes in contact with.
Plants being simpler of course is something where she can force their growth anywhere no matter the environment, keep them sustained and speed up their growth.
Living creatures specifically humans find that she has a crazy touch when she comes into contact with erogenous zones! Doing so obviously puts you into a hyper state of arousal BUT also ups your fertility rate .. what can I say Nature is a sneaky bitch! Tempting you with awesome sensations but then slapping on that chance of suddenly increasing the population.
But don't worry Emily that's not her intentions for you, just a simple homemade gift from the worlds most harmless AND pink demons :3
