Meerkats in the Discovery Barn at the Kansas City Zoo do what they like to do Sentry Duty by looking out the Window and this duty is loved to be shared by others. They look outside and see all sorts of things out there like the tree house jungle jim right outside there, the 1909 Zoo Building, the Mini Railroad, and the KC Zoo Animal Show Stage. The Meerkats at the Kansas City Zoo can be seen in 2 areas of the zoo. The Discovery Barn where it is indoors and climate controled and the African Exibit where they are out when the weather is warmer down by the Lion Area.
