Audine is about to be Very Surprised and Very Unhappy.



I learned quite a lot about coloring during this piece. And reaffirmed a few things I already knew.

For example: I HATE coloring metal shine.

Also, as you might have seen, I sort of just gave out after just starting to color the background. I was just so sick of this picture. At least Audine came out very well, considering she's the focal point of the picture.

I don't expect any of my Audine fanart will be colored for quite a while after this. She's not too bad to draw (not like Yuki), but the coloring... Ugh.

Someday I hope to own an art tablet. Maybe then this sort of thing will feel less torturous. Here's to optimism.
