ok, so the poor little jackal-falcon hybrid on the left is Anu, and to the right is his Demon-Blood "parasitic" alter-ego (i guess?) of sorts, Basa. Basa takes control of Anu's body when his life is put into life threatening conditions, but it almost always ends in the death of someone/thing. Basa's trying to use Anu's body as a vessel until he can reach a currently unknown artifact to free himself, and bring hell upon the world. Anu, however, just wants him gone.

(side note. the differences *physically* between Anu and Basa when they trade spaces -basically difference when Anu is Anu, or when Anu is Basa- is that when Anu is his normal self, his blood is bright red, but when Basa takes over, his blood is an obnoxiously bold purple)
