The ice foxy squirming to get away from me :[
she didn't want to have a photoshoot today.
She started listening when I told her she could have some of her favorite quartz nuggets.

I'm considering shutting down doll commissions in the future, so she's a good chance to grab a doll!

Thank you!!! <3333
I'm so sorry D: stuff has just been eating me, and I sort of cut myself off from the world as my way of dealing with it :(
Well, it's sort of like many reasons rolled into one, even though I love making them I get so stressed out that someone won't like their doll that I can't sleep at night >_< I also feel bad when I have to turn someone down because I don't feel comfortable working with their idea/character. I had the misfortune to come across a conversation also the other day of someone claiming to another person that they planned on commissioning me and then cutting open my doll and taking it apart to study and copy my techniques. It hurt so bad that I've been thinking of closing commissions (after I get all of the ones I have done of course!)
I think I would really only be taking a break though and turning down anyone in the future that seemed suspicious or not 100% into my dolls, I just need to stand up for myself more I think.
Maybe in the future if I just take maybe 3 doll commissions at a time I won't get as stressed out! If you have any suggestions let me know! *hugs*
Btw I have a lot done on Crow ^-^ I finished the Owl Gryphon first because he was needed for a birthday present and I wanted to practice using leather on him because I wanted to use leather on Crow's legs too :)

Yeah, I figured something had come up. :3 Nothing wrong with backing off for a while. ^^
And pshhh, you don't have to be afraid like that! xD Your work is gorgeous, I don't know why anyone wouldn't like it! And there's nothing wrong with turning down ideas that don't sit right with you. That's the good part about being your own boss, lol. After all, if you're spending that much time on it, you ought to be able to enjoy it! And oh my gosh, I think I'd cry if something like that happened to me. D: Cutting it open?! What the hell? DX That's just...holy crap, talk about heart rending. Augh. Blacklistblacklistblacklistomg.
And three at a time sounds more reasonable. :3 Don't want to stretch yourself too thin, haha. And yay! :D I'm looking forward to it SO MUCH, you should post a WIP or something so I can make crazy incoherent squealing noises. xD

Thank you I'm glad you like my dolls!
I think my solution will just be limited commission slots instead of unlimited, that should make things less stressful! It would be hard to have art as a full time job otherwise I think ^-^
I think I'm going to write a journal, perhaps tomorrow that says I will take so many more slots and then close for a bit so that I can take a break by working on my own ideas too

then i will keep an eye out for slots = 3 i actually have kinda an little idea of a cute doll.
i think it's good that you take time for your own personal stuff too, keeps the creativity flowing and brings new cuteness into the world >w<
and means (in my view anyway) that you are a real artist and not a sell out
