Speaking of Ron Paul 2012

While the comic is good and really high quality, I find it a little blown of proportion imo. While i won't necessarily disagree with the overall negativity, I just don't see the whole world going crazy. It'd happen in many areas, but i doubt the whole of humanity would be grabbing torches and pitchforks. I'd be fine with actual furries existing for instance, as well as everyone else here on FA, and the many others who are around the world. That, or I am too naive for my own good. Who knows, perhaps 2012 will reveal aliens or something so we can get a general reference with other intelligent species.

And that would be completely bad ass, but, knowing the powers at be that currently run the world, humanity's leaders, the ones who say what goes, the ones that put crazy people in charge, would turn to those same galactic peace offering aliens, spit in their faces and then shoot them in the head. This may be an overstatement, but you underestimate the idiocy and powermongling of the politician.
