These are the best ones I have made so far! The dogs love them, they smell gorgeous and they just are all around great!
INGREDIENTS 1 cup = 240ml
1-2 cups of chicken broth (I made my own especially for this recipe, it's really easy and great for using up all those chicken bones! If your not sure how to go about making your own broth, search it!)
1 small stick of grated celery
2 grated small carrots (although you can use less which I did)
1/2 cup of cooked rice
2 cups of rolled oats
1 beaten egg
1tsp of baking powder
2 1/2 - 3 cups of flour, although more will defiantly be needed to make the dough good enough to roll
RECIPE
-Simmer the grated carrot and celery in the chicken broth until the veg is nice and soft. Make sure you simmer more broth than you need, just in case!
-Let the chicken, carrot and celery broth cool down a bit until it is lukewarm (or near abouts) then add the broth to the rest of the ingredients. Add more broth or flour to reach desired consistency for rolling.
- roll out to whatever thickness you would like, cut with cookie cutters, roll into balls, whatever, then place on a tray lined with greaseproof paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, rotated them half way through (they may need longer)
- After they are cooked, turn off oven and leave in there to harden for a couple of hours.

now they do look nice and its great when they smell good to us humans too.
I love how chicken broth or stock is just as simple as dropping cooked bones from the left over chicken or fresh chicken carcasses into water and let them boil, keeping the water topped up for about 1-2 hours the remove the bones. You can also put a whole garlic garlic bulb (cleaned not peeled) in which is great for dogs and helps keep the intestines free of pests.
Heck make it the same for humans and add vegetable peelings, left overs and bits of herbs for a fabulous stew or soup base. You can feeze it until you need it I love its versitility.
Your taste testers must be the luckiest dogs in the world right now. *hugs*

I know this is from quite a few years ago, and
~faccc2 just reposted this recipe, but the only question I have is what temperature should I bake these biscuits?
